HACKATHON OVERVIEW
Space Exploration Engineering Kompetition (SEEK) is a full-day robotics hackathon on February 11, 2024 hosted by RSX. This is open to all U of T students, no matter the year, discipline, or experience level!

This year the theme is Exploring the Moon for Scientific Investigation — inspired by the Artemis Project. In groups of four, you will be challenged to build a mini rover and traverse through a simulated lunar terrain. Compete against other teams to see who can complete their lunar mission first!
What to Expect
BEFORE SEEK
Receive five different modules and tutorials on Introductory Robotics Topics to prepare for competition.

DURING SEEK

Receive your mission and listen to a mini-lecture and practical examples.

Join your group to design and build your mini rover.

Compete against other teams in a simulated lunar terrain.

Do I need experience?
No experience is required! All U of T students no matter the year, discipline, or background are welcome to attend!
If you are new to robotics or hackathons, don’t worry! We will provide everything you need to know and all of the components required. Before the kompetition, our members will provide online modules to introduce the components you will use to build your rover, teach you how to use them, and provide guidance! See the Schedule above for their release dates!
